Cave Cooperative of fine Cruet wines, high quality Savoie wines at a fair price

Sharing costs and pooling tools allow us to regularly reinvest in modern materials and equipment, essential for the production of quality wine. By working together, and sharing our know-how, we remain at the forefront of progress in the field of harvesting and winemaking.

Cooperative management thus allows us to be able to respect our commitment to offer you ever more qualitative products, with a reasonable price/quality ratio for both the consumer and the winegrower.

Did you know ?

A wine cooperative is the grouping of several winegrowers. The wine produced by the cooperative cellar is not the blend of different wines, but all the grapes of the same variety, after numerous checks and selections (quality, maturity, degree, etc.). At the Cave de Cruet, and in order to produce Savoie wines with unique aromas, we select the best plots before production, carry out quality checks of the vines and the harvest, as well as photometric control of the flora between the rows of vines.

La Cave des Vins Fins de Cruet, winemaking know-how since 1939

The history of our wine cooperative began in 1939 when winegrowers from three communes in the Combe de Savoie came together to create the Cave des Vins Fins de Cruet.

The vineyard extends from the southern slope of the Bauges massif over the communes of Saint-Jeoire-Prieuré to Fréterive, passing through Chignin, Francin, Montmélian, Arbin, Cruet, Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte and Saint -Pierre d'Albigny.

The winegrowers harvest each grape variety manually and separately at their optimum maturity. The harvest is then transported to the reception quay of the Cave de Cruet to be vinified after having undergone a rigorous qualitative and quantitative control. More than 80 years after its creation, the Cave des Vins Fins de Cruet has 240 hectares of vines, 70 member producers and 12 employees. It produces 15,000 hectoliters of wine per year, i.e. more than 20% of Savoie wines.

Each year, several of its cuvées are awarded medals at various national and international competitions.
