The Altesse grape variety for the Roussette de Savoie AOP is an elegant white grape variety. This low-yielding, exclusively Savoyard white grape variety thrives on steep terrain and produces white wines with exotic, lemony notes blended with aromas of almond and honey.

Roussette de Savoie, which takes its name from the reddish color of the ripe grapes, is drunk as an aperitif or during a meal with white meats, fish and cold meats.
