Gamay, a red grape variety from Savoie - Cave de Cruet
Gamay is one of the most widely grown red grape varieties in Savoie. This black-skinned, white-fleshed grape produces a fresh, light red wine with aromas of red fruits and sweet spices.
Its round and creamy texture on the palate makes the Gamay grape variety the ideal red Savoie wine to accompany white meats, cold meats, cheese platters, grilled meats and fresh cheeses.
Savoie Gamay wines available at the Cruet Fine Wine Cellar
- Gamay, a light and fruity wine, with a brilliant ruby red color.
- L' Opale de Rosé , a dry and fruity wine with floral and English candy aromas.
- L' Elégante de Cruet , a fresh and aromatic sparkling rosé wine made from the Gamay grape variety, naturally sweet and low in alcohol (8%).
